After a difficult few years, Maldives tourism is thriving again. Despite the blockade and restrictions on international travel, Shangri-La’s luxurious refurbishment of the resort continued and will be ready for the return of visitors this year and in 2023.
Shangri-La has long been the destination of choice for travelers seeking unparalleled luxury and relaxation. The expansion has created stunning new facilities, including a poolside juice bar, infrared sauna, ice pool, eight Jacuzzis, three swimming pools, a full-service wellness spa, and 45 guest rooms, including 20 private villas. It will be a space to relax, revive and recharge when the pandemic ended. We even allow pets, and guests are encouraged to bring their furry friends as well.
